A Thunderous Show

We achieved a first! On 7th & 8th January, 2012, we transported the P&W R1830 engine - plus all the associated gear - to the Geelong Engine Show. The event was held at the Geelong Show Grounds where we the ran the engine twice each day. It was a huge success with men actually sprinting across the arena to get to the engine display when they heard the radial engine thunder into life. The convenor of the show generously provided secure shed space for our exhibits; and they even set up a small grandstand for visitors.

Lots of visitors came by and we did very well from the shop sales as well as from donations. A good weekend? Yes!
