On Saturday, 12th November we hosted the Annual Display and Model Competition of the Bayonet Modelling Club.

We had a great day (even though we were at the hangar at 6.30 am!!!). The hangar was full to bursting with: tables full of kits & books; and, wonderful models entered in the competition. Few have ever seen so many people in the hangar; it was very “cozy”!

The Bayonet Club donated every cent raised - from entry fees, sausage sizzle and a raffle - to the Liberator Fund. Visitors also bought up big in our shop. All up we made $1634 on the day; it was well worth the effort.

The Fund wishes to thank the Bayonet Club not only for their generosity but also for the effort they made to ensure the hangar was left in a really good condition.

The Youth Group will host this event again in 2012.
